Finally, Briefly Checking Porec and Rovinj

On the way back to Zagreb to fly back home, trying to check out as much of Istria as time permits, so Porec, here I come.
The Euphrasian Basilica’s bell tower is seen over there.

Statue of Joakim Rakovac, a partisan hero in the 40s, welcomes visitors to the city in the small square.

The Round Tower Porec, houses Torre Rotonda Cafe and bar today in a medieval defense tower. Looked interesting.

This Welcome plaque on the road was one of the most beautiful and inspiring one I’ve ever seen with the coat of arms of Vrsar.

Rovinj with its signature Church of St. Euphemia looks pretty from the marina area on the south. It was a pity I didn’t have enough time..
