Finally, Venturing into the City Walls of the Beautiful Old Town of Dubrovnik

Getting into the Old Town over the moat, then through the Pile Gate.

Opening Hours vary by season, so please plan ahead;
April/May 8 am – 6:30 pm, June/July 8 am – 7:30 pm, August/September 8 am – 6:30 pm,
October 8 am – 4 pm, November – March 9 am – 3 pm
The entrance fee was 100 Kuna ($15 USD) in November 2015, but it seems to have risen to 120 Kuna for adults..

The stairs are quite steep to get up to the Walls, to the left side of the Church.

There’s another entrance to the City Walls in the halfway, and there’s a canon!

Old Port seems very peaceful.
How kool would it be if one can dock their yacht over there.

Dominican Monastery with very impressive aged roof tiles and hemicircle stairs.

To the Gate of Ploce, the second major entrance, there stands majestic Revelin Fortress protecting the city.

Minceta Tower, a symbol of the unconquerable city of Dubrovnik, built in 1463 at the height of the Turkish threat, stands at the highest point of the Wall offering commanding view of the whole old town.
