Since I was so very hungry from long driving crossing the border twice, and there weren’t many places open as it was off-season, I just got into this Gusti in an alley, not far from the main street, Stradun.
It was a cozy little place in a back alley, nothing fancy.
And I’ve ordered some sort of local beef dish.
The steak came out dipped in a little sour, juicy sauce, with lots of Gnocchi on the side.
And the meat seemed to be braised in sauce, the texture kinda felt like Korean style Braised Beef – Jangjorim.
Wasn’t bad, but not impressive at the same time.
I was quite hungry, and I guess it may not be easy to run into impressive dishes in Croatia.
Then under the neat street sign resembling that of Paris, a cute kitten glances you with a shy look.
